Privacy Policy
Kuverd shows what your household is entitled to through the cards, memberships, insurance and other things it holds. This policy says what we keep to do that, who helps us run it, and how to have it deleted. It covers the Kuverd app and kuverd.com.
Updated October 8, 2026
§ 1What we collect
- Your account
- Your name, email address and password, used to sign you in. A one-time code confirms the email is yours.
- Where you live
- Your country, and your province or state if you give it, to show what’s offered there.
- Your household
- The names you give its people, what each holds (cards, memberships, subscriptions, phone carriers, insurance, schools) and what you tell us about them: student, military, veteran, teacher, nurse or 50+. Also the month each account was opened, the fees you pay, add-ons you bought and the credits you mark used.
- What you search
- Questions such as “Am I covered for a rental car?”, and the names of cards or memberships you look up.
- Your time zone
- From your device, to work out dates.
We never ask for card or account numbers, bank logins, balances, transactions or government ID numbers. Don’t enter them anywhere in Kuverd.
§ 2How we use it
Only to run Kuverd: to show what you’re entitled to, where you pay twice, and what’s due. We don’t sell your information or train AI models on it, and we don’t show ads or use advertising or analytics trackers.
§ 3Things Kuverd doesn’t know yet
When you add something Kuverd doesn’t know, the name you type is used to research it on the provider’s public pages, and the result joins Kuverd’s shared catalog, where others can find it. Nothing about you or your household goes with it, so type the product’s name only. We note which account asked, to limit requests, until you delete your account.
§ 4Who helps us run it
Service providers host Kuverd and kuverd.com, store its data, run sign-in, send our emails and keep request logs. AI services research the products you add and answer your coverage questions; they get the product names you type, your questions as you type them and the benefits of what your household holds. We never attach your account, email or your household’s names, so leave names out of your questions.
These providers work for us and may be in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed there and be accessible to courts and authorities there.
§ 5Cookies and storage
In the app, sign-in uses cookies and browser storage from our sign-in provider, and your browser remembers your light or dark theme and where you were on the page. kuverd.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics; if you join the interest list, your browser remembers that you did (§ 11). Nothing tracks you across other sites, so a Do Not Track signal has nothing to switch off.
§ 6How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. Request logs kept by our providers are deleted on a rolling basis. Interest-list entries are covered in § 11.
§ 7Your choices, and deleting your account
Everything about your household is on screen in Kuverd, and you can change or remove any of it there. For a copy of your data, a correction, or to delete your account, email deletions@kuverd.com from the address you sign in with.
We delete your account, your household and the credits you marked within 30 days, and confirm by reply. What you added to the shared catalog stays, with nothing linking it to you.
§ 8Children
Accounts are for adults. If you add your children to your household, you’re entering their details as their parent or guardian.
§ 9Changes
We post changes here and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use what you’ve already given us, we email you first.
§ 10Contact
Our founder is responsible for privacy at Kuverd and answers every request and complaint at hello@kuverd.com. In Canada you can also complain to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information. See also our Terms of Use.
§ 11The interest list on kuverd.com
Joining the interest list on kuverd.com shares only what the list needs.
- What we keep
- Your first name and email address, the country you picked (Canada or the United States) and when you joined.
- What it’s for
- One email when you join, and one when Kuverd opens. We send nothing else, and we never sell or share the list. Once enough households have joined, kuverd.com may show how many, by country; your email never appears.
- The person check
- A bot check from our hosting provider sees your browser and IP address to confirm a person is joining; Kuverd doesn’t store them.
- On your device
- After you join, this browser remembers it in local storage, so the page shows you’re on the list. Clearing the site’s data forgets it.
- Coming off the list
- Email deletions@kuverd.com from the address you joined with, and we delete your entry.
- How long
- Entries stay until you ask us to remove them, or until we close the list.
